Leichhardt Accommodation takes great pride in the quality of the facilities and strives to fulfil the needs of long-term guests. We believe that a well-rested, well-fed and happy worker is a safe worker because they're more likely to be operating at peak performance.
Dining
Adding value to your choice to stay at Leichhardt Accommodation is our commercial-grade kitchen, which operates during mealtimes intermittently between 4.30am-7.00am to 5.00pm-8.00pm, with packed crib lunches as required.
Our chefs provide wholesome and nutritious food to ensure you enjoy a good meal after a hard day's work. We are experienced in creating varied and healthy menus to satisfy a wide range of tastes. We're always happy to experiment with new and innovative solutions to ensure a contented workforce.
There are a variety of nutritional choices available for all meals, as well as a chef's dinner special and theme nights to spice up your evenings. There is no limit to the size of your meals in the dining hall, however there are some restrictions on the volume of food you can take away. Feel free to discuss your requirements with the dining staff if you'd like to eat in your room or outside.
Gravy, sauces and other condiments are available with all meals and if a particular sauce isn't available, just ask our approachable staff and we can order it in for you.
To drink, there are icy-cold juices, cordials and slushies, milk and water. We also have freshly brewed coffee, hot chocolate machines and teas. Always available are the standard fresh fruit platters, fruit salad and vegetables/salads and breads with toasters and sandwich toasters available. For dessert, you can enjoy flavoured and soft-serve ice cream and there is an ice-block freezer.
Our menus change to reflect the seasons. In winter, dine on hearty delicious homemade soups and in summer, there are plenty of fresh salads to go around. Barbecue packs are also available for groups on request.
Every effort is made to ensure that guests with special meal requests are catered for, so make sure you have a chat with our friendly dining room staff on arrival.
Accommodation
Our purpose-built unisex accommodation is designed for relaxed, safe and secure living. Leichhardt Accommodation offers a spacious landscaped complex with manicured tropical gardens and green open spaces.
Each guestroom opens onto a wide, covered and insulated breezeway. It was ergonomically designed and elevated to catch the slightest breeze, maximising the potential for morale-boosting socialising and relaxation on the deck in a cool dust-free environment. The breezeway is right outside your door, with a patio table and chair for each guest.
Our cabins are OH&S designed for fire safety and comfort, with smoke detectors fitted in each room and common areas. The safety evacuation rules are located on the back of the door to your room.
Security is key with a comprehensive video surveillance system covering the entire complex. We are securely fenced with automatic gates and off-street parking. The onsite manager is on-call 24/7.
Rooms
Both our spacious motel-style units are 15sqm, which is larger than average. They boast a separate ensuite and are fitted with extra-long double beds (Couples) for your comfort, suitable for singles and couples.
You're able to control your own environment with quiet split-system reverse-cycle Daikin air-conditioners to help keep each cabin cool, while blackout curtains allow shift workers to get the rest they require.
Each room has a full-sized refrigerator, LCD flat screen digital TV with Austar connection and DVD player. A computer desk has free WiFi connectivity and you'll find a decent-sized wardrobe with shelves for your belongings. The kitchenettes are equipped with microwave, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Complimentary tea, coffee, milk and sugar are provided on arrival, while soap, dishwashing liquid and toilet paper are restocked each week. All rooms are serviced weekly with fresh bed linen and towels (two bathroom plus one pool towel) supplied.
All rooms are non-smoking and a strict 9pm curfew applies to everyone onsite, although you're able to use the laundry at anytime, being respectful to other guests and mindful of noise restrictions.
Facilities & Security
Our exceptional facilities provide comfort and convenience to our guests.
We provide barbecue facilities and undercover or open-air meal and recreation areas in our green open spaces surrounded by lush tropical gardens.
To maintain fitness and health, we have a fully equipped outdoor gymnasium and outdoor, shaded exercise circuit area.
The large pool is a great way to cool off in the sizzling daytime heat.
We have various drink and snack vending machines, while the buffet-style restaurant with fully equipped kitchen supplies breakfast and evening meals each day and cribs if required.
There is limited storage available for changeover shifts and the coin-operated guest laundry has 24-hour access, with coin and soap dispensers.
The corporate office provides the use of a computer, fax, printer, copier, phone and WiFi for guests and there is plenty of gated, off-street parking.
The onsite manager is on-call 24 hours, seven days a week for your safety and convenience.

- Singles Weekly Rate - $770 per week ($110/day), no bond required, (payable one week in advance)
- Couples - $150 per night
- Couples Weekly Rate - $980 per week ($140/day), no bond required, (payable one week in advance)
